Software studio · West Bengal
Everything a business needs to go digital.
Haat builds the custom software a business actually runs on — billing, ERP, websites, SEO, social — offline-first and in the language of the counter. It began at a village kirana shop in Bengal, which is why it works anywhere.
Everything we ship, in three languages — and counting

What we do
One studio for the whole business, not just the till.
01Our speciality
Custom software
The system your business actually runs on, built for it — shaped to your counter, your stock, your workflow. Not a template you bend yourself around.
02Haat Bill Pro
Billing, stock & udhaar
Offline-first point-of-sale with inventory and a real credit ledger, keyboard-first and multilingual — Hindi, Bengali and English today, with more languages on the way. The engine behind our product, available as a custom build too.
03
ERP & operations
Purchase, inventory, accounts, payroll and reporting joined into one system, so the whole business is one source of truth instead of six spreadsheets.
04
Websites & web apps
Fast, findable, mobile-first websites and web apps that load on a village connection and still look the part in a city boardroom.
05
SEO & getting found
Technical SEO, local listings and content so the people already searching for what you sell actually land on you — measured, not promised.
06
Social & marketing
Social media, campaigns and creative that speak the customer's language — literally — across the platforms your market already lives on.

Why we build this way
The hardest shop in India is the best place to start.
A village counter gives you no forgiving conditions. The power goes. The SIM has no signal. The queue is six deep on market day and the man at the front is paying half now, half after harvest. Software that holds up there needs no excuses in a city.
So we don’t build for the easy case and degrade downwards — we build for the hard case and find it already works everywhere else. That discipline is what we bring to every kind of software a business needs: offline-first, keyboard-first, trilingual at parity, running on hardware the client already owns.

Saha Stores
Kirana & ration
The first counter Haat ever built for. Item-wise billing fast enough for a market-day queue, with supplier ledgers and udhaar in the same screen.

Bhandar Textiles
Garments & cloth
Cloth is sold by the metre, taxed in tiers and bought on terms. The billing screen had to hold all three at once.

Krishi Kendra
Agriculture & hardware
Seasonal stock, farmer credit that settles after harvest, and a machine that lives in dust. Built rugged on purpose.

What we’re building
Custom work, turned into products a small business can afford.
We learn a domain by building it for one business, then productise it so the next hundred don’t need a custom build. Bill Pro is first; an affordable Patient Management System is next.
Haat Bill ProBuilding now
Premium billing, made affordable.
Everything we learned across six counters, folded into one product a shop can simply subscribe to — offline core, keyboard-first, three languages today with more coming, hardware included. No custom build required.
Haat PMSNext
An affordable Patient Management System.
The same idea, pointed at clinics and small hospitals: appointments, records, billing and follow-ups in one place, priced for a small-town practice rather than a corporate chain.

How we build
Six commitments, each named for something already on the counter.
तराज़ू
Taraazu · the balance scale
Every number balances.
Stock, cash and ledger reconcile to the paisa at close of day. If they disagree, the software says so instead of rounding the difference away.
बही
Bahi · the ledger
Nothing is deleted, only corrected.
A bill can be amended, never quietly removed. Every correction keeps the original line beneath it, the way a khata is struck through rather than torn out.
उधार
Udhaar · credit on trust
Trust is a feature, not a workaround.
Half of rural trade runs on credit. Haat tracks it as a first-class ledger with names, limits and reminders — not as a note in the comments field.
भाषा
Bhaasha · language
The shopkeeper's tongue comes first.
Hindi, Bengali and English are built at parity — same screens, same shortcuts, same receipts. Translation is not a settings page we got to later.
बिजली
Bijli · the power line
It works when the line goes down.
Billing runs on the shop's own machine. Power cuts and dead SIMs slow the day; they do not stop it. Sync catches up when the line returns.
हाट
Haat · market day
Built at the speed of the counter.
One hand on the scale, one on the keyboard. Every common action is a keystroke, because a queue of six people is the real performance budget.
Next step
Tell us what you want to digitise, and what breaks on a bad day.
That is the whole brief. A counter, a clinic, a whole operation — send it in Hindi, Bengali or English, whichever you think in.
